Anything paid outside Tebi's own payment methods, like a bank transfer, is an external payment. How you set it up depends on whether all your invoices are paid externally, or only some. Watch the video, or follow the steps below.
All your invoices are paid externally
In the Back Office, go to Sales > Settings.
Turn on Manage invoice payments externally.
Under Send a copy to, add one or more email addresses, for example your accountant or finance team.
Select Save.
From now on, when you send an invoice from the POS or the Back Office, it goes to that address. Tebi marks it as paid externally and closes the sale.
Tebi doesn't send the invoice to your guest. Send it from your own mailbox, using the copy.
Once an invoice is sent, Tebi treats it as paid, so checking that the money arrives is up to you.
On the same page, under Appearance, you can add a Note on invoice and an Invoice number prefix for every invoice.
Only some invoices are paid externally
Keep Manage invoice payments externally turned off.
Invoices then go to your guest with a QR code and a payment link. If they pay that way, the invoice closes by itself.
If they pay by bank transfer instead, go to Menu > Invoices on the POS and open the invoice.
Tap Pay.
At the top of the payment screen, select External payment, then confirm. The invoice is now paid.
