Instead of picking products one by one, you can add a tag to an upsell. This is useful when you have many similar products, or when your menu changes often. New to tags? Read Tags, what are they and how are they used?
Add a tag to an upsell
Go to QR & Takeaway > Upsell and open an upsell, or select Add group.
Under Offer these or When the guest orders, start typing. The list shows Tags and Products separately.
Select a tag. Next to it you see how many of its products can reach guests, and their names.
Select Save.
Tags and products in the picker
You can mix tags and individual products in the same upsell. Products you add individually are shown to guests first.
Example: offer a beer with every snack
Title: "Fancy a beer?"
Offer these: tag Bier
When the guest orders: tag Snacks
An upsell that offers all beers when a guest orders a snack
Every guest who orders a snack now sees your beers.
What guests see after adding Bitterballen
Tags stay up to date
An upsell with a tag always uses the products that have that tag right now. When you tag a new product, it is automatically included in the upsell, and when you remove the tag, it is left out. There is no need to edit the upsell.
A tagged product only reaches guests if it can be ordered from your QR menu: it must be active, added to a QR menu section and assigned to a prep station. Modifiers are never included.
If some products in a tag don't meet these conditions, you see an orange ⓘ icon next to the tag. Hover over or click it to see which products are left out.
