Sometimes a guest has a request that isn't covered by modifiers. That's what notes are for.
Adding a note to an item
Long press the item you want to add a note to, or select the item in the order and select the pencil icon.
Type whatever the guest needs, like no onions, an allergy alert, or extra sauce on the side. Then select Add note.
The note appears under the item, and prints on the prep ticket exactly as written.
Adding a note to a table
You can also add a note to the table itself. This is useful for something like a birthday, or a guest who needs special attention.
Table notes can be flagged as important, and you can decide whether they're visible to the kitchen.
Sending the note to the kitchen
Submit your order to the prep station assigned to that product, and the note appears automatically on the ticket, whether it's digital or printed.
