Creating prep stations
Create a station for each preparing party in your kitchen or bar. Give it a name, and choose a type:
Digital, for a screen
Print, for a ticket printer
If you use a digital prep station, you can also select extra preparation steps.
Add as many stations as you need.
Setting up courses
Courses control the order in which dishes come out. Add each course your venue uses.
Create a new course and name it. Most venues use something like Snacks, Starter, Main, and Dessert, or First course, Second course, and so on.
Choosing how courses fire
Choose how courses fire to the kitchen. This determines when each course appears on the prep station:
Parallel: sends everything at once.
Manual: lets you fire each course yourself. Best for full table service.
Sequential: fires the next course automatically once the previous one is marked done.
Hybrid (the most commonly chosen option): fires the first course automatically, and you control the rest.
Choose whichever fits your service style.
Next step
Once your prep stations and courses are set up, connect them to your products.
