Where to check guests in
Checking in a guest takes just a couple of taps. You can check guests in from a few places:
Agenda
Sales tab, whether you're viewing the list, the grid, or the floor plan
Back Office, if you're working from a computer instead
Checking in a guest
Find the reservation and open it.
Select Check in. The table is now marked as occupied.
Your floor plan updates immediately, so your team knows the table is live.
Starting the order
Select the table to open a new order. It's already linked to the reservation, so you can start adding items the usual way.
Once you submit the order, the ticket goes straight to the kitchen, or to whichever prep station is connected to the ordered products.
From here, the order flow is the same as any other table. The reservation context is already there for you.
Timeline settings
By default, the sale opens automatically the moment you check a guest in, so you can start taking orders for water and other drinks right away. You can turn this off from Settings > Preferences > Timeline.
From the same screen, you can also choose whether the following show up on your timeline:
Walk-ins
Prepayments
