Blocking a table keeps it off the widget for a specified period. Walk-ins and manual reservations can still be placed there — only the public booking flow is restricted. Use it for private events, maintenance, or to reserve sections for walk-ins on busy nights.
Note: This feature is available on request. Contact Tebi Support to enable it.
Where to find it
Go to Back Office > Agenda > Timeline view.
Note: Table blocking is currently only available in the Back Office. It is not yet available in the Tebi App.
How to block a table
On the timeline, click the table name on the left edge of the row you want to block.
Choose Block table from the menu.
Optionally type a short note — for example, "held for walk-in", or "VIP arriving 21:00".
Confirm.
A grey card with the label BLOCKED appears on the timeline for the rest of the day. If you added a note, it is visible on the card or on hover. When the entire day is blocked, the table name on the left sidebar appears crossed out.
What blocking does
The table is removed from online booking availability for the rest of the day. The widget will not place new reservations on it.
Existing reservations on the table are not affected. The block only applies going forward.
Hosts can still manually place a reservation on a blocked table. The block prevents new online bookings, not manual seating by your team — walk-ins are still welcome.
Note: Blocking applies from the moment you set it until end of day. You can't block a specific time window only (for example 10:00 to 12:00).
How to unblock
Click the grey BLOCKED card on the timeline and choose Remove block to make the table bookable again.
