Forecasting

Use this feature to get a better idea of how your revenue will look in the next 7, 14 and 21 days.

Revenue forecaste

You can now find a revenue forecast in the Tebi Back Office > Insights > Forecast.

With this feature you will be able to get a better idea of how your revenue will look over the next 7 days, 14 days and 21 days. You can look at ‘This week’ to see how your actual revenue is performing in comparison to the forecast. We hope that this information can support your planning, and reduce the uncertainty of what’s ahead for your business.

How does this come together?

We create this revenue estimate by looking at previous sales patterns, events such as bank holidays and the weather forecast. Since the weather is a big part of the calculation, and it is notoriously unpredictable, the forecast is likely to be more accurate fewer days in advance. We updated every morning at 9am to make sure the latest data is incorporated.

Product forecast

The Product forecast helps you plan ahead by predicting how many units of each product you’re likely to sell in the coming days.
For each product, Tebi analyses:

  • Historical sales data

  • Seasonality patterns

  • The local vacation calendar

Based on this data, Tebi generates a forecast per product. This works in a similar way to the revenue forecast, with one difference: weather data is not used for product forecasts. The forecast updates continuously as new sales data comes in, so you always have the most up-to-date expectation for the week ahead.
