This feature lets you connect Google Analytics 4 and/or Meta Pixel to your reservation widget. Once connected, Tebi automatically tracks the full booking journey as events in your analytics tools, so you can see exactly where guests drop off, measure conversions, and run more effective retargeting campaigns.
The widget sends data to Google/Meta using your tracking IDs. You are responsible for obtaining and managing user consent.
Go to Back Office > Reservations > Settings > Marketing to set it up.
Connect tracking tools
You can connect one or both tracking tools at the same time. Choose what fits your marketing setup.
Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID
The ID starts with G-. Find it in Google Analytics under Admin > Data Streams > your stream. See Google's documentation for help.
Meta Pixel ID
A 15-16 digit number. Create one or find an existing pixel in your Meta Events Manager. See Meta's documentation for help.
What gets tracked
From Release 1.74, the widget fires 6 events across the full reservation journey to both GA4 and Meta Pixel:
Step | GA4 event | Meta Pixel event |
Widget opened | view_item_list | ViewContent |
Service selected | select_item | ViewContent |
Date, time and party size chosen | slot_selected (custom) | (none) |
Booking form opened | begin_checkout | InitiateCheckout |
"Reserve" button tapped | reservation_submitted (custom) | ReservationSubmitted (custom) |
Booking confirmed | purchase | Purchase |
Every confirmed booking fires a purchase event, whether or not a deposit was required. Bookings without a deposit fire with a value of 0.
Where the data appears
Google Analytics — events appear in your GA4 reports. You can build a full funnel from view_item_list through to purchase, and create conversion goals on the purchase event.
Meta Pixel — events appear in Meta Events Manager. Use ViewContent, InitiateCheckout and Purchase for retargeting audiences (for example, guests who started a booking but did not finish) and for measuring ad ROI.
Track successful reservations (conversions)
Conversion tracking is now automatic. Every time a guest completes a booking through the widget, a purchase event fires directly to GA4 and Meta Pixel. No redirect or thank-you page setup needed.
If you previously relied on the thank-you page redirect to record conversions, the widget events will now handle this for you.
