Overview of offline or manual payments
When you have the unfortunate situation that your network or internet is down, you can still process payments with Tebi. Any payments you do while offline will sync when the Tebi App gets access to the internet again. So make sure you connect your tablet with the internet as soon as you can.
How to perform a manual payment
On your terminal initiate the payment for the sale. On the terminal you take the following steps:
Tap the Payment button on the terminal
Enter the value of the invoice
Hand the terminal to customer like you normally would
Wait for the payment to succeed, retry when payment fails
To perform a manual payment you take the following steps in the app:
Open the invoice you want to close
Tap the Pay button
In the payment screen fill in any tips received. If not, leave at €0.
Then next to Terminals click the three dots to select view the Terminal selection.
At the bottom, you can select Manual payment
Tap the Payment button on the bottom left like you would normally
A pop-up should show asking you to confirm whether you succeeded with the payment, press 'Yes' if the payment on the terminal was successful.
This will close the sale and register the revenue (and tips).
Note: manual payment will stay selected until you deselect it again. You can deselect it by taking the same steps that you used to select it above.
Turn off manual payment option
If you do not want your staff to accept manual payments on the Tebi App, turn off the manual payment option.
Log in to the Tebi Back Office
Go to Settings > Payments
Turn off the Manual Payments toggle
