Still issues with your terminal? Try these back-up payment methods to keep taking payments: QR Payments or Tap to Pay.
QR Payments
Enabling and using QR payments*:
Go to Back Office > Settings > Payment methods and turn on the QR payments toggle. Then click Save.
In the Tebi App: when you tap the green Pay button, you'll see Online Payment as a payment method at the top of the payment screen.
Select this method, then tap the green Online Payment button — a QR code will appear.
The guest scans the code with their camera and pays through iDEAL (or by card).
If you give guests receipts for payments, you can also add the QR code to the receipt — see Show receipts after payments for instructions.
*iDEAL payments have a transaction cost of €0.20 per payment.
Tap to Pay
Download the Tebi App on your phone and sign in with your account.
Go to Settings and turn on Tap to Pay. This turns your phone into a payment terminal.
Note: each iOS Tap to Pay payment has an additional transaction cost of €0.06, and on Android it's an extra €0.03.
