Pagamento giorno di vendita

Your sales are not paid out immediately. Adyen pays out your sales after a delay of a few business days. This article explains when you can expect your payouts.

How it works

Every day, your payments are grouped together. A sales day (T) runs from 06:00 to 06:00 the next day. After a fixed number of business days (your payout delay), Adyen transfers the total to your bank account.

For example: a company that processes sales on Monday, January 1 and has a payout delay of two business days (T+2), is paid out on Wednesday, January 3.

What determines your payout delay

Your payout delay depends on the currencies you accept, the country or region where the transactions are processed, and the mix of payment methods used.

Your delay is T+2 (two business days) if at least 80% of your transactions are in AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, NZD, RON, SEK, or USD, and these transactions are processed in the country or region of the applicable currency.

Your delay is longer if you mainly use payment methods with longer settlement times. Ad esempio, American Express ha un tempo di regolamento di 7 giorni. If most of your payments are through American Express, your payout delay is set to T+7.

Adyen continuously monitors your payment method mix and adjusts the payout delay accordingly.

Bank holidays

Bank holidays increase your payout delay. If a bank holiday falls on the sales day, the payout day, or any business day in between, the payout is pushed to the next business day.

Frequenza di pagamento

Your payout frequency determines how often Adyen pays out to you. The default is daily, meaning each payout contains the sales from one sales day.

You can change your payout frequency to:

  • Weekly — payout on Tuesday or Thursday, containing all sales from the past week

  • Monthly — payout on the 1st or the 15th, containing all sales from the past month

Accelerated payout (T+1)

It is possible to reduce your payout delay to T+1. This requires approval from Adyen and may take 1–2 weeks to enable. Accelerated payout is subject to an additional fee of 0.02% of payment volume.
