Creating and using Bundles

Bundles let you sell several products together as one item, like a three-course menu, a tasting flight, or a package deal.

Why use bundles

Bundles let you sell several products together as one item, like a three-course menu, a tasting flight, or a package deal. A few reasons they're worth setting up:

  • Simplify multi-course and set menus. Guests build a whole meal in one tap, instead of your team adding each course separately.

  • Increase average order value. Guests tend to spend more on a full menu than piecing one together item by item, and supplements let you upsell premium choices for extra margin.

  • Keep pricing consistent. Charge one flat price for a set menu, regardless of exactly which items a guest picks, so your margins stay predictable.

  • Reduce staff errors. One tile guides your team through every course, so nothing gets missed or rung up incorrectly, especially useful for newer staff.

  • Speed up service. Ringing in one bundle is faster than adding several items individually, which matters during a busy service.

  • Keep the kitchen organized. Even though it's sold as one item, each component still routes to its own prep station and course automatically.

In the Back Office

Create a bundle

  • Go to Products > Bundles.

  • Select + Bundle.

  • Give it a name, like Four-course menu.

  • Add a short description.

  • Add tags if you want it grouped with similar products.

Set up slots

  • A slot is one part of the bundle, like Starter, Main, or Dessert.

  • Select Slots to add one, and give it a name.

  • The order you create slots in is the order they appear in during a sale.

  • Add as many slots as your bundle needs.

Choose how to fill each slot

Each slot needs products to choose from. There are four ways to fill one:

  • Add specific products: pick the exact products by hand.

  • Add products from tag: automatically include every product with a chosen tag, for example Tacos. This keeps the options updating on their own if your menu changes.

  • Add 'No Selection': use this for anything guests can skip, like extra cheese or a side. Turning it on makes that part of the slot optional.

  • Add product set: use this when more than one product is included together in a single option.

Adjust option pricing

  • By default, every option uses its normal product price.

  • You can override the price per option:

    • Use standard price: no change.

    • Set fixed price: charge a specific amount for that option.

    • Apply percentage discount: reduce the option's standard price by a set percentage.

Set the maximum selections per slot

  • Set the selection rule for each slot, like Choose 1 or Choose 2.

  • This controls how many options a guest can pick from that slot.

Set the bundle price

  • Choose how the total price is calculated:

    • Add up individual prices: charges the sum of whatever's selected.

    • Set amount: charges one flat price for the whole bundle, for example €45.

    • Apply a percentage discount: takes the sum of selected products and reduces it by a percentage.

  • If you choose Set amount, you can also mark an option as a Supplement, adding an extra charge on top of the bundle price for premium choices:

    • Included in price: no extra charge.

    • Add product price: adds the option's normal price on top.

    • Add custom price: adds a specific amount you set.

In the Tebi App

Customize the kitchen ticket display

This setting is only available from the app, not the Back Office.

  • Turn on Show bundle name in prep station, so kitchen staff always know which bundle a product belongs to.

  • Choose a display mode:

    • Show products separately: each item appears on its own line, best when components are prepped at different stations.

    • Show bundle with products: the bundle appears as a header with every component listed underneath. This is the default.

    • Show bundle name only: no component breakdown, best for something pre-made that's simply picked and served.

Selling a bundle at the POS

  • Select the bundle tile like any other product.

  • A pop-up walks your team through each slot, one option per course.

  • Add a note the same way you would on any other item, for example to flag an allergy for the kitchen.

On the Kitchen Display

  • Each product in the bundle still goes to whichever prep station and course it's normally assigned to.

  • A starter, a main, and a dessert can land on completely different screens, at the right time, automatically.
