Step 2 - Create a main recipe

A main recipe maps one to one with the product that is being sold. This is the quickest way to see a real cost + margin.

  1. Go to Back Office > Products > Recipes

  2. Click + New recipe button > Main recipe (e.g., Pizza Margherita)

  • Tags → Use tags to organize and filter recipes (e.g. vegetarian).

  • Product quantity → Define how much the recipe makes: 1 portion (e.g. Pizza).

    • Single portion: The recipe makes one sellable serving (e.g. 1 pizza).

    • Multiple portions: The recipe makes several servings from one batch (e.g. 8 slices of a pizza).
