Apply a gift card to a Sale
In the Tebi App > Sales, open the sale you want to redeem the gift card on.
Click Pay
At the top, select the payment option Gift card
Enter the code that the customer has provided
This will deduct the amount of the Sale from the gift card
If there is more value left on the gift card - they can use it again at another visit
If there is not enough value on the gift card to complete the sale then you can use another payment method (e.g. card or cash) to pay for the remaining amount
Apply a gift card to a Reservation
Customers can redeem gift cards when making a reservation that has a prepayment
In the Tebi Back Office, go to Gift cards > Settings, and toggle on the option to “Carry gift card balances from reservations to sales”. As soon as you do, when guests add a gift card to a reservation, any balance on the gift card will be used automatically when they are checked in.
