Set up printer(s) to print receipts
To set up a printer to print receipts, you need to configure the printer and then set up the printer job for receipts. From each device you want to print receipts from, you’ll need to configure the printer(s) and set up the receipt printer job.
Note: this is not the same for prep stations! See previous Help Center article Setting up your prep stations.
In the Tebi App, go to Menu > Settings > Printing > Printer Selection.
Search and add the printer(s).
Cannot find the printer? This means you are not connected to the same network with your device as your printer.
Scroll to Printer jobs and set up the receipt printer job to print from whichever printer is relevant.
Receipt customization and ticket number
To further customize the information on the receipts, go in the Tebi App, go to Menu > Settings > Printing > Customize receipt. Here you can change a variety of details and show various information.
Under Appearance, turn the toggle on to show:
Name of staff member
Sale notes - these are the notes on the table/sale
Product notes - individual notes on a product
Modifier notes - any modifier groups that are notes
Include payment receipt: toggle on means the payment receipt of the pin terminal used (when using Tebi Payments) will print this underneath the sale receipt. You will get two options:
Print customer receipt - copy of receipt for the customer
Print merchant receipt - copy of receipt for (you) the merchant as a card holder
If you would like to show a QR Payment code on receipts, turn on the show QR payment code toggle on.
Under Details you can add your business information:
Business name and address
Tagline allows you to add a custom message. This will be shown at the top of the receipt, underneath your logo, business name and address.
Add a logo by pressing Upload business logo.
Ticket number on receipt
Here you can choose the option to add numbers to the receipts. These will also show on the prep tickets. You have the following options:
Disable (ticket number will not appear on receipt or prep ticket)
Two digits
Three digits
