The Advanced Floor Plan gives you a live view of your tables and active sales. This article explains how sales appear on the floor plan and how to manage them during service.
Sales on the floor plan
Sales assigned to a table follow the shape and size of that table as drawn in the floor plan. The sale card shows information such as amount due and sales notes — the more space a table has, the more detail is shown. We recommend making tables large enough to display the guest name and amount due.
Sales without a table appear in the Direct Sales section in the action bar at the bottom of the screen.
You can also move a sale off a table and place it freely anywhere on the floor plan canvas. Enable this in the Back Office under Settings > Preferences > Floor Plan > Allow sales outside tables.
Stacking sales on a table
Multiple sales can be placed on the same table:
Drag a sale to a table to stack it
Tap a table with multiple sales to open the stack and select the one you need
Merging sales
To merge two sales together:
Tap the sale, then tap the three dots
Select Merge sale
Alternatively, drag one sale onto another and confirm. To use drag-to-merge, turn on Allow drag-and-drop sale merging in Settings > Preferences > Floor Plan.
What the sale cards show
Use the selector in the bottom right of the screen to choose what each sale card displays:
