Múltiples estaciones de preparación digitales

How to use the KDS when you have multiple prep stations

  • Go to the Tebi App > Prep Station

  • The name of the selected Prep Station will be visible at the top

  • Click on the name to see a list of all the Prep Stations

  • Open the Tebi App, go to > Prep Station.

Why this is useful:

Order overview of the digital prep station

Get an overview of all the dishes that have been fired to the pep station:

  • In the Tebi App go to Prep Station > click on the icon (top right)

  • The overview shows the ‘Total active orders’ and ‘Oldest order’

  • The List view shows a summary per product :

  • The Timeline view shows a summary per status:

See other stations' products for the same course

Peeking, cross station visibility, gives a Prep Station a read-only view of products being prepared at other stations for the same course, so your team can see when a whole course is ready across stations without switching screens or shouting across the kitchen.

Why this is useful:

  • A course is often split across stations — e.g. a main course with a hot product from the kitchen and a cold side from the bar. This lets the kitchen station see that the bar's product for that same course is still in progress, without needing to open the combined multi-station view described above

  • Reduces the back-and-forth needed ("how long on the mains?") to confirm a course is fully ready to fire to the pass

  • Especially useful for courses needing prep from more than one station, or long-cook items where timing matters most.

How to turn this on:

  • In the Tebi App, go to Prep Station

  • Tap the three-dot menu to open the KDS Settings for that device.

  • In the Display section, turn on Show products from other stations.

  • Peeked items appear alongside the station's own tickets, marked as read-only (they can only be marked complete from their own station)

  • This is a per-device setting and is off by default, so turn it on separately on each device where you want to use it.

How it works:

  • When another station is preparing items for the same course, a muted, read-only card appears on the ticket labelled "On [Station Name]".

  • Tap the card's header to expand or collapse it — this is remembered per ticket.

  • Each item shows as "[quantity] x [product name]" along with that station's own prep-status icon, so you can see how far along it is (fired, in preparation, or ready).

  • The card is read-only — you can't tap, bump, or modify another station's items from it.

  • Only courses your own station is also preparing will show this view, so it won't clutter your ticket with courses you have no part in.
